Meet your crew: Mike and Lori
Mike and Lori are both USCG Certified
with 100 Ton ratings. Mike is a PADI Dive Master and Instructor, Lori a
PADI Dive Master, developing their skills safely sailing and diving in
some of the most remote places in the world. Their current interests are
widely varied. When home in Washington State they run a 72 passenger whale
watching boat showing passengers the local killer whale population. During
their summers off during the past 5 years they have designed and built a
barn and house near Port Townsend.
Lori grew up in Alaska
and had a successful career in corporate travel there. She attended Bon
Vivant School of Cooking and her menus are influenced by the many cultures
they experienced over 5 years they spent sailing around the world.

Colin, RYA Yacht Master, has the sea in his blood. From
his first turn at the helm at the age of 5, while on his father’s knee,
he proudly continues the family tradition established by his great
grandfather who sailed the world on the Tea Clipper ships. Well qualified,
with over 75,000 miles of sailing experience and an intimate knowledge of
Caribbean waters, Colin will enhance your sailing vacation and make safety of paramount importance.
Penny, a Qualified English Nanny who worked
internationally, has a fun loving approach to life and is gifted in
attending to people’s needs. She is an excellent chef and makes dining aboard Saboré
very special, as each colorful and varied dish delights the eye and tantalizes
the taste buds. She is also a RYA Day Skipper.

You were right! Penny and Colin were
absolutely fantastic and Sabore was beautiful. Our vacation far
exceeded our expectations and our expectations were very high.
Sabore was elegant and at the same time very comfortable. Penny
and Colin were magicians (our every wish seemed to be fulfilled),
psychologists, and wonderful, hospitable friends. It was a
vacation we will never forget and now we're reprioritizing our future
