Meet your crew: Brian Massy & Jennifer Floyd

Brian Massy & Jennifer Floyd, crew aboard Catamaran Catatonic

Capt. Brian Massy spent the last few years aboard a 55’ catamaran “Kiele V” out of Maui. That left him plenty of time to surf, dirt bike, become part of chase team for Baja 1000 and take a cross country road trip.  Brian holds a 100 Ton USCG Masters License and is trained in First Aid and CPR.

Chef Jennifer “Jen” Floyd came from Cocoa Beach, Florida.  She worked in many different restaurant environments throughout college and learned to cook not only with precision but with a dose of love as well.  Jen started a successful catering business in South Florida. She then decided to try her luck in the Caribbean to work towards a goal of PADI Dive Master.  She loves to fish, swim, dive, snorkel, play racket ball. As Jen says ”Just add water and it’s magic”.

Guest Comments

We did enjoy the boat very much.  Having sailed on another Lagoon 440 last year we knew that the layout would work well for our family.  The boat is well maintained by the crew and has a number of extras; diving from the boat, WiFi, great music selection, kayaks etc.  Brian and Jennifer were both very nice and tried to  accommodate all of our requests.  We were thrilled to make it to Anegada again.  The sail there and back was fantastic.  It was really nice to actually sail as many of the Cats seem to motor.  Overall we had a very enjoyable week with Brian and Jennifer and we would definitely sail with them again .   Susan L.....March 08
We were so thrilled with the Catatonic and our crew.
